If anyone is staying in Mt Barker overnight, could you buy me a footy off the kid I presume is hanging around the back collecting balls from long goals.

OK, now that first goal by Weller was clearly a supergoal, but was only scored 6 points. Surely, surely, surely, there's got to be some mechanism whereby the extra 3 points is added. Of course, people will say it's only a NAB match, but it makes footy look dumb (or at least like soccer) if these sorts of blatant mistakes are not corrected. In the NBA, officials check the telecast on-the-spot to adjudicate questionable three point shots. Surely the same should apply here.

Taberner never fails to disappoint. He either drops easy marks or misses easy shots. Just when you think he's improved, he'll do something terrible to make up for it.

I'm not sure exactly what he lacks. Sometimes he looks really good but more often than not lets himself down. I guess some players just aren't born with the class to play at a certain level.

As this is a game in which the result means stuff all to anybody, the only losers are Lachie Weller's junior team of origin who would have benefted from the Supergoal. The officials should come clean eventually and cough up the reward that they are entitled!!

Our backline looked very slow. Josh Jenkins who has the turning circle of the Queen Mary, was running rings round them

Not that the result meant anything, but without the supergoal Freo would have lost.

Only listened to a radio call. Will watch a replay when it gets posted it on youtube later, more as a bit of chore to see how the forward line went. 10 goals seems like more of the same. 38 vs 42 inside 50's is really low, but 27 scoring shots from 42 entries for the Crows!!!!.

Along with the Brownlow Medalist, it sounded like Suban and Sheridan both had effective games.

Conditions must have been tough (could hear the wind blowing through the mic's) with Walters down the bottom of the list of disposal efficiency at 35%.

they got both super goals wrong.should have got the first one should not have got the second.
either way we deserved the nine points.
but we did not deserve to win, crows kick straight up till half time, it becomes embarrassing.
our turnovers were really bad, after half tiem we put a lot more pressure on them, right up till about the last 5 mins when i think everyone was thinking shower time.
weller played well,i think tabs will still improve a lot,in the last quarter when he started behind a crows player and outsprinted him to get the ball and screw kick it to griffif which led to a goal was good stuff,he should have had five goals and five more marks ,.
dont like the way fyfey held his lower back after a mark,i'm remembering what langdon said when he had the same type of injury,i hope his words dont come true, when he said it virtually stopped his career.
looks like hilly will be playifg a lot off half back, spent virtually all day there, like thelook of brady grey, his running tackle in the last was a gem,the crows player will feel that for a while, blakley is a mirror image of neale gets a lot of it,just needs to finish better has a great long kick.
they think pav has a hammy, minor though.
mundy comes back i think sos son should stay forward,he got many possies along the half back line ,but we need him and ballas to crumb and put pressure.
dont think collins or hughes will get in ahead of pearce, though both had some good touches.

I'm looking forward to see who is going to kick Mayne between the posts to straighten up his kicking.

Nothing to get excited about here, similar concerns to last year. Hope when we get full team on the park something clicks.

They played the forwards closer to goal, they had some attacking moves from the centre square, they kicked deep into the fwd line.

I thought it was a fair effort for a team that will welcome in: Mundy, Bennell, Sandilands, Pearce's, Ballantyne and Spurr.

Dawson will come back in too but he's bloody not welcome.

Well I'm watching the replay now and am really enjoying the commentators not calling the footy at all, instead choosing to focus on how poor we will be this year, how our midfield has now been passed by a number of other teams, how we have to win our first ten games so Pav can rest half the season as he has suddenly aged 20 years, and how dysfunctional our forward line is.
Really enjoyable stuff. Thanks fox.
