Mick Malthouse says he has a proposal to coach the banned past and present Essendon players through their year-long suspension away from their clubs. The banned players, found guilty of anti-doping violations in 2012, will miss the entire 2016 season and aren’t allowed to train at their clubs.

The character of Mick Malthouse never fails to disappoint. I'm sure most of them are very nice people but they are convicted drug cheats serving a suspension. Someone with his history working in the industry should show a bit more respect to the system than scabbing himself out to train them.

thats a bit harsh.MM isn't a coach or player and as far as I know isn't on their payroll. The players have been screwed left right and centre (partly for their own behaviour of course)and while not playing deserve a little professional help to keep them up to speed.

Mick was planning on charging them (Dr Evil voice)... one million dollars for this privilege !!
