I'm concerned with the not-so-subtle attempt by GWS to white ant the poor kid.

Releasing an official statement saying he's "struggling to deal with the day-to-day demands of being an AFL footballer" and "cannot currently meet the demands of being an AFL footballer." semms to me to be more about undermining his value to other clubs than it does supporting a young man in a difficult position.

He isnt struggling to meet the demands of an AFL player, he's struggling to meet the demands of being a player for GWS.

I've got mixed thoughts on this situation. I bitterly remember blokes we lost through similar.
On the other hand come on home Cam.
If he steps out of 2016 citing depression, like Clark can he then go in draft next year and select his club of choice? He is contracted till 2017 at GWS. I would think that if he walks from his contract then he sits out season 16 and 17 and then goes in the draft?
