Sad to hear of his passing. Never knew him personally but admired his footy ability and his stance as a coach against what was happening at EvilCorps up the road that his replacement felt comfortable in overlooking.

I had no personal connection with Ken Judge. I did enjoy his footy. I also enjoyed his radio commentary and if his colleagues all say he was a fantastic bloke off-air, I believe them. I don't mourn his loss as a close personal friend, but I do mourn the loss of a really good communicator about the game we love.

Jees, we've lost a few pretty quick. Lemmy (god knows how he made it past 35, but I teared up all the same), Bowie, Rickman, and at 58, a relatively young Judge. No guarantees. Enjoy your footy, your loved ones, and as much life as you can while you got it.

My father-in-law told me one of the Eagles was dead - Glen Frey apparently, although i shudder at mentioning this in relation to the legends of Bowie and Mr Kilmiester - but now i see why there were no jokes on here.
Overseas atm. Sad to hear of Ken's passing, a good footy commentator, and honest to his own detriment. In fact young men whose lives he was concerned about are still living and yet he is not. A shame.
