It's that time of year again when the Dockerland message board shuts down and footy supporters all over Fremantle rub their eyes and head outside for a few weeks.

So the message board will be read only from Thursday until the 14th of January or so.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the site over the past year, particularly Heather for sending in the photos and Sarah for her photos from Victoria, everyone who has visited and all the coaches, medicos, sports scientists, dietitians and administration staff who worked tirelessly throughout the season. Oh, and the players. I'm sure they contributed in some way too.

Thanks Shane, and all contributors, for another year of entertainment and debate on this wonderful website. It's the only place to go when you need a dose of reality about football. No spin, just different points of view and often so funny.

Another great year of biff-ups and laughs with all my mates here on Dockerland - thanks (again) Shane for the effort. Have a safe and happy holidays everyone - enjoy your families, your friends, be tolerant with the rest (ok, even knobbers like my DuFFLe nemesis/hero Slime'oh/Slammo). Stay well, Oos - let's share a beer in a paddy pub Mercs/Hypen/Davo/Biz/Matty/Nelson/and the rest of you lot - even Slammo - in the new year.

It was a great year on the paddock, next year (with Harley) can only be better - GO FREO!

Cheers Shane, thanks for another year of anarchy and chaos, along with the informative, funny and at times dangerous to keyboard and monitor, posts and opinions. For those of us a long way away from the heartland of Freo it is the only way we can get our footy fix, and the good thing about Dockerland is that it is just like being down the pub or at the bar at the footy club, talking and arguing footy with your mates. We don't always agree on everything, but we ALWAYS agree on one thing. GO FREO.

Thanks to all here on Dockerland for another good year. Minor premiers and a Brownlow - it's not that I lack ambition, but let's face it not a bad season.

We're now an elite footy club who - week in week out - are turning up and pulling on the jumper for four quarters, putting their hand up all day long, and writing their own story. We're travelling in a forward direction moving forward. But enough in-depth analysis - GO FREO!
