It's a joke all these ex-players running and continuing the Steve's agenda. I'd much prefer fans with business experience and a passion for the club in a position to represent us and our views.

It is indeed a joke. We fought for member spots on the board and the powers that be have outmanoeuvred us by having ex players run for the positions thereby ensuring even these positions are corporate. First it was Allan , then joined by Mann and now joined by Bell once Allan has left, by the time Mann retires from the board it will be Pavlich's turn. The past couple of elections the only person standing has been the ex player. It is a farce.

And brawn - he's been trying to convince everyone to get down to Cockburn to help him and Hilly to shovel some dirt (or something). He seems happier doing it than Stephen, maybe a bit enthusiasm for the task at hand there. I like having Belly back at the club - time to dust of the old ringa-dinger again.

Aren't there a few short memories? Having members on the board makes no difference, they only end up being sock puppets, like pants. They never have 'represented' the fans, because none of them ever asked what the members cared about, and would be outvoted if they did.

I'd prefer Bond went on the board where doing nothing would be constructive, at least for him.

I definitely regretted voting for Pants after she lead the Steve's agenda but I'd much rather another shot at a member elected board position than the succession of former players doing whatever they're told.

No one else nominates when there's a former player running due to the former player's higher profile and popularity. It's a waste of time anyone else nominating.
