Basically that despite having Pav, Fyfe and Sandi (who are good building blocks) plus a solid defence, the team of our 21 yr history is basically carp, lacking depth and ranked 14th out of the 16 they are evaluating from 1990. Criteria is 5 years or 100 games or 200 goals

I don't expect the recruiters to get it right every time, but if it all comes together as it will in 2016, then it will be the same team named, despite our history improving incommensurately, as the same players won't have played enough games or kicked enough goals. We could win the next three flags and this team will basically remain the same.

Yeah, that's just plain stupid.
Peter Mann doesn't fit the criteria - never played a full 5 years, only played 77 games in total for us (some would say less than 70, but let's not split wood over it), never kicked 200 goals (not even close).

I have the same issue with the subscription block to the linked page.

Which teams are ranked below us at 15 & 16. I suspect one would be Richmond.

Jeffrey Farmer would probably make both the Melbourne and Fremantle teams so that would complicate how they'd rank teams against each other. Brian Lake wouldn't get a place in Hawthorn's team even though he's played in 3 winning GF's and won a Norm Smith, though Langford was a better full back anyway.
