The AFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement lists the wages paid to rookie listed players (as well as 1st and 2nd season players).
A rookie listed player (in 2016) will be paid $57 100pa. If he is promoted to the senior list he earns $63 460pa + $3 605 per senior game. He earns a further $3 360 if he plays 1-5 games, a further $3 360 if he plays 6-10 games and yet another $3 360 if he plays 11+ games.
If he returns to the rookie list he drops back to the $57 100pa pay scale.
As a delisted player Morabito can enter the draft with a self nominated contract price or can negotiate a contract with the club which selects him (at not less than the figures mentioned above).
