To briefly clarify goodie, Harley was a young impressionable kid a long way from home placed into a living arrangement with a 23yo senior member of the fledgling Gold Coast outfit, a respected individual who had achieved high achievements in Rugby and was looked on as having a very good level of commitment to a healthy lifestyle compatible with elite sporting achievement. Un fortunately he just happened to be a hard drug user and police informant. Under this guy's influence Harley was led astray and the result is history. The other guy unfortunately is a convicted criminal who, from what was published at the time, stalked and then assaulted his ex's partner. I'm pretty sure Harley's misdemeanours had a lot to do with the circumstances of his recruitment and now back with family and friends he can embrace a healthier lifestyle both on and off the footy field. The other bloke I don't think fits our brand and what our club stands for.
