A bye round before finals . . great idea in a sense, but if you finish 1st or 2nd and are a game or 2 clear of the others you can still rest players!

Looking at the Wet Toast schedule and I'm sure they will be whinging!!

Opening 5 rounds see them play all sides in last years top five-Hawks, Freo, Tigers and Swans in that order.

They play Lions at home then travel to MCG for Hawks clash before having to back up six days later against Freo and then another six day break for a friday night clash with the Tigers before a 7 day break and travel to SCG to take on Swans!
They could easily be 1/4 or 2/3 after opening 5 rounds.

Pretty good draw for freo but why we continually play Hawthorn in Tassies I'll never know. Although if we win there you can pencil us in for the flag.

You also have to wonder when games in Vic are reduced because we dont attract a big crowd, yet the Giants play 3 at Etihad, 1 at the MCG and 1 at Skilled and the Suns play 2 at Etihad, 3 at the MCG and 1 at Skilled we have problems!!!

Add to the the fact there is a hell of a lot more merchandise for them and we are virtually non existent, we have an identity problem here too

Rate the clubs on AFL.com has us as a A+. Fails to mention 4 games in Melbourne, the frequent flyer points and 1 MCG. Has as a pro, no back to back interstate travel, WT?

I saw a couple of days ago on AFL website, the fixture 'wish list' from each club and the Hawks actually asked NOT to play Freo again in Tassie, apparently their feed back was from their Tassie supporters saying they want to see some other teams there...

Should set an example by never sending a full strength side to Tas or the NT ever again until there's some fairness in sending others to these locations instead of continually scheduling us there.

We cant rest players in the final round anymore, so use this as a "fatigue management" strategy instead
