More mature age options Patrick Levicki 23yo, 196cm, 94kg mobile ruckman/defender currently with Norwood in SA, Brendan Abbott 20yo, 186cm, 92kg key forward, just delisted off Collingwood's rookie list and headed for Claremont. Maybe a bit small for a key forward but big and strong, hits packs hard and could assist our smaller forwards. Just wondering with Mitch Brown being a very desirable option for us going forward might we be willing to punt on a mature age recycled player with our first draft pick with Essendon apparently considering drafting Brown with their number 24 or 25 pick. We really do need another option if Tabs, Apeness or Hannath don't work out but I get the feeling that Sean Hurley may also be a surprise upgrade next season if he continues to improve his skills.
We could also whiteant the weagles and pick up Jake Waterman17yo 188cm, 85kg tall midfielder from Claremont although I'm not sure if he's eligible for the draft this year. Apparently they were flirting with the idea also of picking up Jordan Matera, son of Peter, in the draft and not taking him as father/son!
