Purple Kit is spot on - Im sure the weagles had already spent the end of first round compo pick for him - bad luck.
They dont want to let Sinclair go.
If it doesnt cost us too much - Lets have a crack at Lewis aswell. We are clearly the number 1 destination for indigenous players - maybe he hasnt done his homework too well and needs a bit of guidance

Thats where it hit flash point.
At some grounds a couple of hundred clowns made a bit of noise.
90% of the eagles crowd verbally attacked him and then Jetta all night.
I would have thought it would leave a very sour taste in the mouth and after match in the rooms confirmed as much

I don't mind bad things happening to the slime. But surely the AFL should have a formula for determining compensation picks. The idea that the AFL has a look at what is happening, and goes "I reckon pick 37. Sound good to you guys?" is ludicrous. Just another opportunity for the AFL to decide which teams will be in contention for a premiership. Its the same with fixtures and the choice of umpires, and the MRP. Time and again, the AFL steps in to ensure the competition is not fair.

RR, the AFL rules are often obtuse, and constantly evolving as the AFL prioritises short-term problem solving over long-term consistency. It's difficult for fans to keep track (FreDo'h excepted).

But Nissy is a CEO of a footy club, and has been around for decades. By going the public dummy spit, he's revealed himself again to be either incompetent or cynically feigning outrage. It's behaviour that should be called out at every opportunity, but the WA media don't want to bite the hand that feeds them stories.

Nisbett is no fool, despite being with West Coast.
I would think this is a deliberate calculated ploy for gain sometime in the future.
We will never know but my gut instinct says West Coast, come next free agent that walks out, will get a better compo pick than what they would have done, pre dummy spit. Formula or no formula.

Its the same with Eddie crying foul over Clokey getting scragged. He always get favoured the following game.

Fortunately or unfortunately ( I oscillate on this one) Freo rarely seems to complain about anything. Dockerlanders excepted of course.

The Eagles have traded Sinclair for Jetta. I think that is a very bad trade ... so I like it.

I rated Sinclair. He was taking dangerous contested marks in the Slime's forward 50. I thought Sinclair and Lycett played really well when Nic Nat was on bereavement leave.
One of my Slime mates, one of the better ones (yep, unfortunately many of us have them) couldn't believe they were thinking about trading Sinclair. While I was agreeing with him, I was silently hoping they would, hehe.
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

I agree. Bad trade. Jetta was lucky to be getting a game at the end of the season and Sinclair is a good second ruckman. Rosa wants out too. Bad trade period so far for west coast...
