Ballard is a BIG give away. I can only assume that Bennell is a sure thing , so there is no reason for Ballard to hold out for a midfield spot. Hence no interest in being re-rookied.

Lot of spots to fill especially if we trade our first and second round picks. Recruiting not as simple at it would appear like the thought of Shane Yarran if other clubs don't get him first. Sorry to see Creepy and Duff go Crowley spoken about in the media regularly so got rightful recognition. Duffield great servant with good foot skills underrated, would have liked to see him selected in our finals teams.

I was surprised we didn't delist Mora and redraft him via the rookie list. it's not as if anyone else would pick him up.
Can understand Ballard trying his luck over east. It would have meant three years on the rookie list and what more could the guy do than be in the best for Peel every week.
How did Vandeleur not be delisted. Spent the first part of the season in the magoos and did bugger all when playing league. Perhaps because we are so short of KPP's a guy like him stays on the list in sheer hope and desperation?
