Not sure which umpire # 8 is but I now agree with any theory. The softest decision in the history of the afl for wees first goal. Then a fifty even channel 7 is too embarrassed to show for their 2nd. Difference at half time 16 points.

Who do you think, it's the same fellow who gifted Buddy a 50m and goal in the 2013 GF. Rosebury. He has umpired 3 of Freos last 4 games against Hawthorn and we have lost all 3 of those. We won the other that he didn't umpire. I rate him as the most biased umpire against Freo in the comp ... and I've got plenty to choose from.
In the last 2 years, he has umpired 11 Freo games and we have lost 7 of them ... in an era when our losses are few.
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

Umpires killed us with the change of momentum midway through the first qtr. It certainly contributed minimum 3 goals and probably a lot more just on the run of the crowd.
