Gunston out is a much bigger story than Johnson out. Except in Perth.

How about they talk up the Hawks poor chances of winning a final away from home in a fired up stadium, on the back on regular travel, without their main goal kicker.

Meanwhile, back in reality land, Freo's backline is as stingy as a Scottish wedding, no matter who plays in it.

Look none of us want to see Johnno out as he brings poise and coolness to the back line and is just a great player.
But..... losing tall defenders is not a huge issue. They have basically a small mobile forward line with Gunston out. Breust, Rioli, Poppy, Hodge kick all the goals. We only need one for Roughhead and one for the resting ruckman.
Slime won by using small attacking runners out of the backline. We need Clancee, Suban, Hill, Sheridan, Gu, Sutcliffe to run the pants off them.
We can still do this.

FD1016, every "news report" I've read on the issue starts with "Rumours are coming out that..." or "It is being reported that..."

The more I read them, the better I feel. If, after more than 24 hours, the journos haven't managed to get confirmation or been able to name a reputable source and are still simply reporting on their own reporting, then it is in all probability baseless.
