I was a little anxious last week about the Prelim and our likely opponents, Hawks. Then something happened. While the football world lauded the Hawks performance, it was Wayne Carey's comments that stirred my emotions. Basically, he said that the Hawks would rather have played a much contested game knowing that they're about to face Roly's team in Subiaco. Like every side, playing at home, after freshening up and in a Prelim, is such a massive advantage. That is why the Hawks have made the last 3 GF. They've had it too easy for far too long. This is our time.
