I wouldn't read anything into what ross says. For someone who self proclaims to shoot from the hip, he tends to shoot from other places. He wouldn't give away his plans for mcpharlin. I wouldn't be surprised if crowley plays even though it's "highly unlikely".

I think they're well aware of it. Unfortunately he's had lots of injuries and missed chunks of the last few seasons. It's the sort of wear and tear you probably can't manage your way out of.

Pretty hard to second guess what's going on but he finished the Melb' game without issue it appeared.
A Pearce sat that one out - did Luke need to play that game?
If he misses that one he gets 3 wks rest to front up in a final. Which at that stage was looking highly likely to be v Sydney (with Franklin) at home

So now he's missed our 1st final v Sydney at home (who could have guessed that? see above) & won't be able to front up for a prelim?
Even if he's done it post that Melb' game I'm not that sure we've managed him as well as we should have.

Maybe I'm being precious but given we are the emotional & financial supporters of the club it'd be nice if we were let in on this rather than the way it appears to have been made public*

*Stuck at work so didn't get to see the game & all I've got to go on is this post.
