Just watching a replay of yesterday's game and I'm even more disappointed with ZaC's game than the first time around. Absolutely zero desperation, slow and lacking in second efforts. Seems like someone who has lost interest, not someone who is battling for a game in a GF. I'm not sure what is going on but he's making it easy for Griff to come back in.

I think Hendrix gets judged pretty harshly. Take this week's game: He had 8 touches, 3 marks, 1 goal, 3 tackles and 11 hit outs, and people will say that it's not enough

Griffin's average stats: 8.6 touches, 2.7 marks, 1 goal, 2.6 tackles and 11.9 hit outs. Griff looks a more natural footy player, but statistically he's not giving us anything more playing the same role. In terms of intangibles, Griff is stronger over the ball, but he doesn't cover the same amount of ground as Zac.

Morgan if Zac wasn't a seagull and let ballantynes goal of the year contender sail through, those states would read 7 touches, 2 marks, 0 goals, 3 tackles and 11 hitouts.

When you watch griff, you can see the effort. Zac we have seen the effort in the past, but what we all saw yesterday was a shade of that.

I think Griff is a better ruckman, but with Sandi in the team, there's only about 15 - 20 mins of ruck work to go with a whole lot of time forward. I don't think either is a natural fit there, so if Griff is available, it's still not an easy decision.

Going with only one ruckman and adding Tabs / A Pearce would he an interesting move. Albeit, it's probably a risk Roly won't take. Still, Tabs kicked 5 in the WAFL so it would have to be on his mind.

Griff may not be perfect but at least he tries hard and puts in 100% effort. If Griff still isn't fit just play Tabs instead and put the other Zac as back up ruckman

To fully understand the difference between zac & griff we need a "marks against" stat, griff doesn't get out marked, if he doesn't take the mark it comes to ground, zac on the other hand gets pushed out of the contest and opp players take easy marks, it's soul destroying for our players up the ground to see the ball come back so easily.

I know it's tough to isolate, but anyway: There was a moment in the 3rd quarter, Freo kick-in to the wing. De Boer vs. 2 Sydney players, Zac too far away, wrestling with his opponent to get to the contest. Sydney player took the mark and De Boer had some choice words to Zac for not getting to the contest to at least bring the ball to ground.

Opposition players just break Clarke's tackles too easily. He has no mongrel in him and we keep playing him in the hope it will appear. Depending on weather, both Griff and Taberner have to play I think. And I hope there is a team of physios massaging Mcpharlins calf because I think he will be all the difference in how far we go this year.
