I believe he becomes available the day of our prelim (Friday, September 25).

Should he get picked? I'd consider it, but I obviously am not in the inner circle and don't know what the playing group and football staff would think of rewarding a player who has been out on a drug-related suspension.

I mean we aren't West Coast.

So. He's available on the 25th? The day of our Prelim. Hawthorn beat the Crows next week. So Crowls plays on, and beats Mitchell.....to a pulp. What's not to like.

With Peels loss today goes Crowls last hope of a trial game.
His miniscule chances of playing, have diminished further. His best chance was to be selected for Peel in a WAFL GF then come in to nullify the slower Mitchell in the GF. Now with the Hawks in the prelim he doesn't have the time. If we win the prelim with out him, Roly wont bother selecting him for the GF. I think its curtains for Creepy unfortunately. Great team man, gave 110%.

If Crowley plays it will be the bravest ever selection call by a coach. 12 months without a competitive game, age over 30 and a knockout prelim final. A lot of risks in that mix.

Suban's non performance will make Crowely cross Ross's mind more than it otherwise would have.
He selected tagger Steven Baker for the 2010 GF v Pies, Baker hadn't played for 3 months.
Unfortunately for St Kilda & Crowley, Baker had minimal impact in the drawn game & even less in the replay.

It's interesting that nearly 50% of the pollsters on that Herald Sun site think he should play.

I can see benefit in playing him on Mitchell against Hawthorn but probably not against the Crows. I'd rather see Fyfe vs Dangerfield II.

And in the GF, he would be effective on Schuey and possibly on Jack or Parker.

As for Harvey, forget it. The Kangaroos are 10/1 to make the GF; they may as well be 1000/1.
