Blokes flying for marks whist no one stays on the ground, errant kicks into the forward line, blokes not handballing to advantage, kicking the ball out of bounds on the full and not enough run on transition.

Everything is working pretty solid. Except our attacking. It's opportunistic at best. The hardest work we did was make Sydney work harder for their shots on goal than we did.

Pavlich took about one mark for the game. He was one out for most of the day and getting decent delivery up the ground. We had too many blokes under or overrunning the ball as it came in.

Winning ugly is one thing, but playing like that will not win a GF, you've got to have some results form your attack.

Today confirms once and for all that this theory that we've been coasting for past couple of months and could flick the switch to our A game for September is rubbish. What we saw today is exactly how we will play in the prelim and (hopefully) the GF. It might be tense, it might even be joyous, but it won't be pretty...

We're a team that requires all 22 to contribute. Just a bunch of blue collar players. While this team is ridiculed for grinding wins out, they remain one win from the big dance and 2 wins for the Cup. I guess we don't give enough credit to the blokes that gets the job done. I say thank-you to the Freo Dockers, for giving me the strength to put up with the Slime and all the media knobs who continue to talk them down.
