What's happening here is that Adam Goodes and race are almost irrelevant to this anymore. The booing is all about the booer, his or her sense of self-importance, of self-entitlement, his or her straight up narcissism.
The important line in their low turd of a justification is not "Goodes is a whinger/sook/sniper" or "divisive/un-Australian/ protected species" etc. It's "I can do what I want".
These are the people who dump their shopping trolleys in the bay next to them. Who stop at lights with a car's-length gap in front of them so the poor sap behind them can't get into the tuning lane. They are the woman near us behind the Freo bench who yells out "Taberner you're an IDIOT" so the poor kid can hear it, and turns venomous when people around her tells her to shut it.
They aren't concerned that they are wrecking the occasion for everyone else. Quite the contrary, that's why they are doing it. The only thing that stops them dropping their pants and wanking in front of us is fear, not shame.
I like to think the Eagles have more of them than we do, for various historical and sociological reasons, but they are everywhere. They are weak pricks doing what weak pricks do.
