Our group was in 313, and there was no obvious booing there, but quite loud booing over to our left in the first quarter when Goodsie went near the ball. One of our group immediately left his seat and spoke to an official, and we agreed that if we spotted anyone near us booing Goodes we would ask them to desist and report them to security staff. It was pretty obvious this kind of response was occurring elsewhere, because the booing was much less apparent as the game proceeded, and had pretty much died out by the last quarter. Though this was encouraging, like most people on this thread I felt no less ashamed of the booing behaviour by at least some of our supporters and it detracted greatly from my enjoyment of the game. Very disappointing, but I guess it's naive to hope all Freo fans are reasonable, compassionate people. Thankfully most seem to be, and I'm still proud to be a Docker.
