Check out the below stats that give strong evidence of just how good 211 is, but you're unlikely to hear the All Australian selectors tell you about;
In 2015, Freo have won 1294 Hit Outs (vs 670 Against) for a differential of positive 624 Hit Outs.
Freo have also won 922 Clearances (vs 763 Against) for a differential of positive 159 Clearances.
In comparison, the Slime (Nic Nat) have positive 309 Hit Outs and positive 35 clearances, Norths (Goldstein) have positive 254 Hit Outs and positive 41 clearances.
Because these statistics are team totals, they are not a truly accurate reflection of the individual ruck (ie. Nic Nat vs Goldstein vs 211) performances, but they are indicative and it is reasonable to suggest, something I have suspected for a long time, that 211 is not being credited with his negating effect on other rucks and other teams (hitouts and clearances).
That is, it's easy to compare Goldstein's individual stats FOR vs Sandilands and come to a conclusion that Goldstein wins, but if one looks closer at the net effect (FOR minus AGAINST) of both ruckman on the teams hit outs and clearances, then 211 is a clear winner and is the most influential ruckmen in the league.
