Agree that this guy is a gun but I think the trades some people are suggesting are paying overs. Our first pick which will hopefully be pick 18 should be enough. On talent alone pick 18 is not enough but he comes with a massive risk which brings his value down. I would be gutted if Suban was traded but De boer, CLarke, Crozier I would be happy to shop around. I wouldnt package any of them on top of our first rounder though.

We wouldn't have to pay him much because he'll be flushed with cash after he takes legal action against the Suns for not providing him with a safe working environment.

They took a 17 year old to the other side of the country, housed him with an alleged drug dealer turned police informant, and then sacked him because he developed substance and behavioural problems.

Importantly the article starts with "Fremantle will head the list"..... and then says nothing more. What this means is that Greg Denham had a story to write on Harley but to get more people to read it he made up an intro that sounded like Freo had expressed an interest in trading for Harley, which it hasn't.

His cousin is on the West Coast list, so there is some connection with that lot. I don't think we could hold that against him.

But Freo is a better fit for both parties, and Bond should do everything in his power to get him.

In football terms, how much better would we be if we spent the same effort getting Harley the ball instead of D Pearce. But it is a risk, and Bond hasn't shown himself to be a high risk / high reward type.
