I'd go with 'rested' rather than 'dropped'.

Agreed Morgan, Alex Pearce may be very important for us in the finals, if we have problems with injuries to Pav, Johnno, Elvis. I thought we may give Tabs a run as I still think we structure up better with him in the forward line.

Lyon cited the likelihood of rain as the reason Tabs missed out for Clancee.

As much as we may have missed Duff's clean disposal, I think we've missed Clancee's pin-point 50m outlet passes moreso. Plus he brings a bigger body to the mix than the Duff.

Reckon if the backline gets back to it's sublime self ala the first 9 rounds we'll go a long way in September (and October, this year). Pretty much have that mix (except Duff) back on the paddock now. Press GO Rosco, NOW!!!

Except somehow Dawson gets a start as soon as he's available. I wound prefer to see A Pearce in the backilne with Elvis & MJ or continue with just two talls as we had in rounds 1-9

Yep, he couldn't have done any worse than Dawson did against Ben Brown last week.

I think Clancee's willingness to put his body on the line might be what gets Him a start.

Clancee gives his all and his long and generally accurate kicking is a bonus in the style of play used now.

Re Tabs, doesn't Roly check the weather reports? Sunday arvo is looking fine. I would love to know what Rolys ideal forward six for us would be in a home final played in fine weather?

Clancee and Taberner not playing for Peel today.

Weller's stats stopped at 3 disposals. Hope he is not injured.

When are the late changes to the team announced?
When is the deadline?
Any other players to be rested?

If (hopefully when) the Crows beat the Wiggles we could see a few "late changes"

We still have to win a game - actually, it would be a nice change to win a game (maybe even gain some momentum to win a few after that). Whenever we 'rest' players they come back looking shell-shocked, slow and rusty - vulnerable (especially to teams that just play to win week in, week out).
