On the flip side, I bet you've heard Fradonjan, that the Eagles are going to win it this year. The season has thrown up many scenarios. I heard Lingy say that the Hawks wouldn't lose another game after they beat us and the Swans earlier. And after that the Eagles are genuine contenders until they drew with the Suns second team. And Freo won't win the flag because they can't score more than 100pts. The Finals start in two weeks. To win the premiership, top 4 is a must. Top 2, for interstaters, is a big advantage. Currently we're in there. Which gives us a big chance. I like those odds. If we get to the big dance, we're a 50-50 chance to win it. Give me those odds any day of the week

He won premierships as a player and a coach and effectively turned a team of nancy's into a hard, skilled uncompromising unit at Geelong. I rekon he might know a thing or two about how teams shape up for the run into finals. To dismiss the thoughts of someone with his experience and knowledge would be, well, foolish. Or have I got it wrong is he a rubbish coach who just got lucky, a bit like Ross who has not been so lucky?
