I don't know if it was an intentional act by the AFL, but the frees for and against were remarkably even in most games last round. I'd love the umps to save their whistles on Sunday.

I've been saying this for a long time now. How many of the current Eagle's list, would actually be in our best 25. Without naming them, I count a total of 5, and that's being conservative. In tonight's 7 news, I especially liked Pav's comments about whether this is the biggest Derby he's played in. His reply, " it'll be good for the town and the fans, but we have bigger fish to fry in a few weeks time". That's gold.

I'll go Barlow, Blakely, (why not? WC are playing a lot of youth) maybe SCOS (for cover and confidence) and um um Clancee - cos he's as tough as old boots, can keep it low in the wind and rarely gets beaten one on one.

Looking at the inclusions I would see Fyfey and Johno definites but Mundy and Macca as doubtfuls so I would think that either Clancy or Tendai will just miss out. So Connor Blakely in for Mundy, Johno in for Macca. Clancy or Tendai the sub.
