Looking at the photo of the 2 coaches holding the derby trophy, Simpson has a look of " How do I hold this? I've never had the chance before" , And Roly? He's all " Sure I'll let him touch it for a minute for the photo, it's the closest he'll get to it for a few years yet" .

By the way, the tally of Rosco winners; Freo 17, and eagles 11.

For all this talk of "civil war", when was the last time you watched a derby where there was genuine animosity and niggle in the game? Definitely not in recent memory, ever since we started having the wood over them anyways...I prefer the good ol' days though, when you can almost feel the intense dislike the players have for each other, just made it so compelling to watch...

I don't get all this talk about Freo being happy if The Slime wins.
The odds are The Slime will lose a game against the Dogs or the Crows in their remaining Home and Away games. If they do lose any games, then Hawthorn are likely to end up Top2 anyways.
If Freo lose this derby, then Freo may need to win 2 of their last 3 just to make Top 2.

The topic is just ridiculous. Why would we at the 11th hour take a risk of losing a Top 2 position.

Lock in Top2, make the Grand Final, then worry about how to beat our opponents.
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.
