Good to see Silvagni on the extended bench and Tendai moved to center

I like the benchmen. Lets assume the first three are locked (Lached) in with L Weller in the green suit. Of the others ... hmm ... ZaC only if Sandi is resting; Blakely if we want to blood another youngster (hence green vest for him), Clancee for grunt, or Alex because we want him to get legs before the finals. Alex for mine. Then tall Alex can go forward again.
And take Clancee and Blakely on the plane.

I would have thought 'Billy Longer (Terrified)' was more apt.

Agreed Freoboy

Hopefully Silvani in so that Pearce can have another run forward. Really liked his quick thinking and fast reflexes last week. Would have done much better if some of the passes coming in had given him a fair go. Didnt realize his kicking sucked until last week

Would love to see Blakely in for the Pig, We know what the Pig will give us so now is a good time to give the kid a go. Tho I havent seen too many ROLY teams with a first gamer and second gamer in the same week

Also I would have Clancee in for Crozier. Crozier looked like he would be a permanent after last years finals performances but has gone backwoods this year

Clearly, many DL have got on the $2.95 quote for the Saints. It's now at $2.65 and falling fast. At this rate, they'll start favourite before bouncedown. I can't remember when the last time, a team at the top of the ladder are underdogs against a bottom 4 team, in Rd 19 of any AFL season. Fre_doh, is this the first in AFL history. If it is, then Freo are forever the whipping boys, irrespective of talent.

All the reasons why A Pearce found it hard up forward and should get another crack forward, (Would have done much better if some of the passes coming in had given him a fair go. Didn't realize his kicking sucked) are the reasons why Taberner is not the answer up forward. I don't get it.

Very happy to see SCOS in the side, hopefully he's fit enough to keep Dawson out in 2wks time.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

My info is that the Blakely family are heading to Basso on the weekend (to see the little brother ruck for the Black Ducks) - not flying to Melbourne (to see the big brother play against the Deaf Mothers).

a shame Polly - would love to have seen Blakely in the green vest with Weller getting a full game.

Looks likely it will be Silvagni for Dawson as a straight swap and Weller as sub again. I'd love to see Clancee back in the form he was showing in the early rounds - but reckon he'd only come in if de Boer or Mzungu were out. And I reckon Griffin is doing just enough to hold Clarke out.

The bloke in the centre was ordinary last week and needs to lift his game - i hope he can, i think he can.
