I can accept that Dawson got 3 down to 2 weeks for his errant elbow. After all, we don't want players throwing elbows carelessly all over the place.
...
But when Stevie J. gets 1 week for a right hand punch to the face of Christensen and Hodge doesn't even get looked at for a fist to the face of (I think the player was??) Grimes , both intentional, both hit their target, then I struggle with the message being sent by the MRP. Stevie J's hit was classed as Low impact. Hodge's I assume as below Low impact.
Also, Shuey's hit on Hall. Although there appeared (on replay) to be very little in it, Shuey still gave a fair wack to Hall in the body (chest). Enough to force Hall to the ground and then off the field. Again, this was not even mentioned by the MRP. Again I assume classed as below Low impact.
Keep in mind Fyfe's hit to Duryea was also classed as Low impact. The one in Round 15 when his raised left arm (inside forearm) made front on contact to Duryea.

My problem is, I would think viewers can accept things like heavy bumps, well disguised spoils to the head, trips, melees as just a tough part of the game, but punches really make the sport look bad and they seem to be getting some leniency by the MRP. ... or alternatively, the MRP is just corrupt and biased.
