With Fyfe out of the side a spot opened up at the bottom of packs and Dutchy loved the opportunity to show off some muscle. The number of times he dug the ball out of a pack with 3 blokes hanging off him was incredible with beautiful clean hands out to those wide. I'd almost forgotten how good he is in and under after so long wasting away at half forward/in a vest/at peel.

I'd enjoy him getting a run through the midfield rotations a bit more when Fyfe's back, giving Fyfe a chance to push forward.

I'm glad this thread on De Boer was opened. His 25 disposals, plus a game high 7 tackles will not be lost on the match committee. He's the perfect foil for Nat, with Mzungu as back up. They've got to be Fyfe's body guard. Trouble with the Gu is that his disposal efficiency is not his greatest asset. But today he's not alone. The body guards are warming for the Derby Demolition. May the force be with them.

Sorry Shroom, i just think Dutchy is designed to play a similar role as the Poodle. Let Dutchy take the the first hit from opposition players as he paases the pill out to Mundy and Fyfe. Dutchy is wasted as a defensive forward. I know Neale does a similar role but there must be room for both of them.

Consider mouth dutifully washed.

It's all about hair, isn't it? Fyfe's is bloody ridiculous. Priddissey's hair is like enormous pubes with curlers added. And The Pig's hair is all Chuck Norris. The Pig's hair is Future Captain Hair. It could take the toss and do the handshake on its own. There needs to be a balance I believe.
