Interesting player management - leave the bloke who will be playing next week out on the field, and sub the bloke who will be suspended?

Pearce looks a lot faster than tabs and pav. He was taking marks from creating his own space. Had good quick hands in a couple of situations.

Its easy to say he needs to fix his set shot kicking.. But then Danyle Pearce has played quite a number more games and I still cringe whenever he takes a set shot..

A young A Pearce will turn into an AA Pearce if he he keeps improving the way he has so far. He's got bags of talent.

He couldn't understand why he'd been subbed, and I couldn't either.

I thought he offered a bit more up forward than we've seen, but marred it with woeful kicking. With Tabs he has to arc onto his left boot and its pretty predictable where the next kick is going when he gets the ball, but A Pearce, along with having better capacity for repeat defensive efforts for the ground ball, he looked a little bit more elastic, and in tight spaces he seems to be able to send defenders the wrong way.

Swingman.

First time I've seen him live at AFL.

Jet.

Worth noting that he played his junior footy as a fwd.

His kicking action today was terrible:

- bent knee
- no follow through

Correct that and he'll be fine. Can take a grab and has good / quick hands when ball on deck.

If he couldn't figure out why he was being subbed, he hasn't been paying attention to our games this year. A tall forward - most often Tabs - has been subbed to bring on more run in just about every game this year.

We looked vulnerable under the high ball last week, so game time into Dawson in a game we were never going lose is important.

Good effort up forward, but I hadn't realised until today how little penetration he has on his kick. This summer, when he's not doing weights, he should be out with one of our 26 assistant coaches straightening that leg.

Send him out to Lake grace for a decent feed and some sheep wrangling, if he bulks up like that other skinny kid we`ll be laughing.

How about the shimmy on the back flank and then spotting up a teammate with an under pressure kick off the non-preferred? He's all class. By my reckoning he had 5 marks in three quarters with two free kicks for chopping the arms and 4 shots at goal. Amongst all that he was sent to the defensive 50 a few times.

The sky is the limit.

DDDocker, he's out of contract at the end of this season.

The Bulldogs and Saints are very interested. I'm sure Bondy will get onto it - when he's finished playing Mahjong or whatever else he's doing.

Bond always has a lot of due diligence to cover. A day of due diligencing can really take it out of you.

So Ross was playing him forward to try and reduce his trade appeal. When that didn't work he subbed him. Its starting to make sense now.

The omnipotent one said in the post vaudeville presser, it was a flip of the coin who would be subbed off, and he couldn't really justify why it was Moose.

Me, at that stage, I would've taken off Dutchy or the Gu for Weller. The fans love Moose and he's damn good to watch, unless he's injured or can't suck in the O2, keep him out there.
