Did they swap the alignment of WAFL clubs to the two AFL teams in the last few years so that Claremont switched from being Fremantle aligned to WC aligned, or am I just imagining because of the Neesham connection that Claremont were once aligned with Fremantle Dockers?
And how do they actually split the alignment now with 9 teams, Peel obviously entering the competition after the Dockers.
Edit: Actually, having thought about this I guess Peel are irrelevant since they won't be able to provide father/son picks. But I did read somewhere a year or two ago, they adjusted the WAFL club alignments for father/son to make it a north and south of the river thing for the two AFL clubs with Perth swapping with another team to be aligned with Fremantle now. However since the Weagles are moving to train at Laithlain Park, the North/South river won't make much sense.
