TOPIC: Blakely

His first half today was enough to say why is he not getting a chance in the bigs? He is pure class, and we need more of that.

Might be opportune time against GWS to rest and fix up that corkie of Fyfey...and bring in Blakely. Was interesting to hear Fyfey on Gameday this morning saying he really wished there was a second bye as would be good to fix up sore spots. Give the guy his bye.

Fyfe definitely needs to get his leg right, rather than risk a muscle tear. Blakely deserves a run and the next few weeks would be a good time to rest a few others feeling the strain.

Perhaps rest a few others but not in the same game otherwise we will have another StKilda.

Maintaining first spot is imperative so we get two rest weeks when it really counts (in finals) and we play the team in fourth place first up.

I think Dawson will be in for Griff. Ross will go with Sandi as the lone ruckman against GWS.
The only other change will be a replacement for Clancee (injured). De Boer moves into the 21. The sub will be the replacement.
Would like to see Ross give Langdon, Weller or Blakely a go. Injury forced him to use A. Pearce and that has worked out well. He's now in the starting 22.
Come on Ross give another young guy a go, especially in this game!

Maybe Clarke for Taberner is another possibility.

It would be great to see Blakely or Grey get a go. Throw them to the wolves and see what we have. It's worked out with Pearce.

Roly knows what he has got with Clarke, Tabs is a work in progress and draws opposition attention away from Pav. Clarke doesn't seem to force the opposition to leave Pav and go to him.

We all want to see Alex stay in the team. The Fist to return and Alex to go forward. And if that doesn't work we can swap them around. Oh right... it's been a while.

I'd rest Fyfe, definitely, and Sandi and play Griff and Clarke. GWS not to be disrespected but resting two of our best now will pay divis later on.

Fyfe needs a rest? What, is he 85 or something? Our best play football every game - if they're not up to it, get them to put their hand up for a Peel holiday. If they can't get back because there's a volcano (or something), that's their problem.

I thought Connor was ready until I saw that game on Saturday - he needs to work on his disposal a bit more; Weller (like his brother) either needs a new set of boots or a set of spectacles - either/or because his disposal makes The Spack look like a sharpshooter; Mzungu straight in for Clancee - but he's slow, so get him to chug a Red Bull before the game (and at half-time). De Boer, as much as I like his attitude, can't get hold of the ball - even 20 tackles a game won't compensate for that - time for a spell in Peel and bring in that Tassie Aboriginal bloke (Grey) for a run.

How would you know he makes the Spac look like a sharpshooter?

When have you ever seen the Spac kick?

Rest Barlow this week and give this kid Blakely a full game. I think Barlow looks a bit tired, definitely needs freshening up.
