I'm not sure he did anything that ended up as a costly turnover to us and he had 6 i50's, 3 of which led to Freo goals. His contribution was better than it first looked ... and in previous years, I was first in line to have a whinge about D.Pearce.

Pearce D was pretty bad in this game. Had ample opportunities to pile on the site board pressure and fluffed it every time.

However that was tonight and certainly he's had similar games in the past but the fact is getting him to Freo is one 2 or 3 best recruitment moves or club has ever made.

Hill is having a great year and Danyl is one of the main reasons for that.

D Pearce should be a little worried, Sherridan and crozier both showed they are better playing as outside mids collecting at speed from the stoppages, given this is also Hill & D Ps current position, I'm not Ross's game plan can afford 4 outside receivers.

Seem to recall the home ground Tiggies missing a few shots on goal throughout the game. late in the last when our pressure amped up - only one scoring shot to them in the final 10 minutes - their field kicking on their home ground dropped to 50% and ours improved from 35% to 80%. Yeah, he his kicking was brutal, but he wasn't alone.
