Yep couldn't agree more Fre_doh. Dawson a late change for Spurr ( reported calf issue). ZD has been in full training for 3-4 weeks prior to his Peel game last week. He'll need some AFL game time, to prepare him for the budgies. I think Clancee will move down back and Hill to his wing position. Im still dumbfounded how a team on top of AFL, 1 game clear, is still be bagged by industry as to genuine contenders. You just cannot win.

I understand the general DockerLand opinions regarding Zac D. but I'll still say it ... I look forward to his inclusion in the 22. Even when Freo were easily winning in the earlier games of this season, I felt we missed him and even more so since MJ got a nudge to the injury list courtesy of Richmond Round 10. (But then I'm a DEEEFENSE man.)
When I think Zac D. I think of a player sprinting back in to the defensive 50 while the opposition evaluates a forward offensive break. Freo have missed this type of player. I believe the likes of Mzungu (and to a lesser degree Sutcliffe) have been caught out and made to look worse because of Zac D. not being there. Previously those players have looked at their best running forward and providing rebound leading to inside 50s. That's much harder when you don't have AA Luke, MJ and Zac D. back there keeping their eye on things.
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

Zac D going with the Tigers second ruck, and into the ruck with him, may not be a bad move. Zac using the big fist instead of the nice neat palm may be our wildcard. As has been mentioned before it is not easy for Sandi to go the big fist, as the umps do not allow him to jump at a ruck contest so he doesn't get the momentum needed for an effective 40 mt punch forward.

Ibbo could well handle sooky again, leaving Luke to take the tall for the tigers. Spurr in will be a big inclusion from the last time we played them as well.

We will win no problems at all, the last Richmond game was an aberration....it was our St Kilda match of last season. Plus as an added bonus they have Hampson playing, who is a total crab. He might be tall but offers them absolutely nothing. Game over.

Agree. Hampton is a crab, he's a good in for us from last time.

McPharlin will go to Sookie, he towels him up every time. It's in fact great sight to watch Sookie drop his head when he sees Luke make the walk to him at start of the game.

Just a bit disapointed to see us not unveil a first year player. Clancee is a fine player but honestly a bottom 22. Good soldier. But i would love to unleash an Ed Lanngdon with his pace on the wide expanses of the MCG. Something different and honestly pace is something we dont have in abundance. We do play it safe.

Agree Clancee is just a good soldier but you could say that of most of the team. The Boss calls us a blue collar team, remember. A few blue bloods there too though . . SonSon, Fyfester, Manic, Hill might think they have swapped the boiler suits for a collar and tie.

Can't afford to drop this one not the time for first year player. I am like DockerKnocker a bit of a Dawson fan suprised to see him in this week thought would get at least another week down at Peel. Would have liked to seen Mzungu given a run for Sheridan although think I can see the bigger plan for Sheridan in the future. Richmond a far better team this year have built on the confidence gained from beating us. Must stop Deledio when he plays forward hope the post about Spurr having a Calf is wrong Zac D not the man to replace him.
