I think you'll find Sylvia's problem was E-not-lite-enuff.
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

You all need to go and look at Griffs preseason game against Swans in Sydney. He was the dominant big man in ruck and around the ground, and it seriously has amazed me it has taken so long for him to make the ones. He is imposing just like Sandilands and allows the pressure to be maintained around the ground. That goal he kicked in the first quarter was as good as any forward and shows what he is capable of. His presure acts, of which there were 8 was important.
My assessment of Tabs is he is short term and does have problems marking the ball. My thoughts are that once Zac Dawson and Michael Johnson are back, Alex Pearce should be swung forward, he played his early years as a forward and has adjusted well to AFL in the backline, so a switch to CHF would be interesting, and i believe logical.
With the likihood of ballas potentially having a week off we should see weller or langdon promoted for the Richmond match.

So where does that leave the sides below us on the ladder, they haven't been winning every week, no matter how good they are.

There are two schools of thought on how we are going. Absolutely useless, or pretty good. I'll go with pretty good, but may re-evaluate after Richmond next week.

Yeah, but realistically, it doesn't matter how well we play next week. What will really determine the outcome is how well Richmond play.

i) Lachie Henderson ( or as I like to call him Sonny's ride to the stars) is a seriously big unit. Too big. he has lost his speed and mobility. A pre season out of the gym and on the running track and I reckon he could still be something.

Where have words like "clang" and "clunk" come from to describe taking a mark? Just because Brereton's multiple head knocks have him struggling with the English language doesn't mean we all have to become dyslexic to compensate for him.

Yep, there's the chest mark, overhead mark, pack mark, and for when someone like Mikey gets it right, a simple Speccy will do.

i) Welcome back Griff - we've missed you!
ii) Sandi needs a rest - or a change of tactics. After watching Goldstein on Friday night it's obvious (IMO) that Sandi has become predictable where Goldstein is innovative - Goldstein appears to look as he is jumping, to see where his players are and taps right into their running path where Sandi taps to the ground and hopes someone in purple doesn't trip over his boots. The big thump appeared just once on Saturday night - we need more of it - it's as good as a kick...
iii).Fyfe needs a goat alongside him. C. Pearce is that goat. Big, strong-bodied and hard to pull to ground.
iv) Tabs isn't there. Yet.
v) A Pearce is. Well and truly. He's a ripper!
vi) I hope that Mayne now feels that 4 goals is better than 8 tackles. I sure do.
vi) Like many others on DL, I'm so sick of seeing players fall over. Time to make a few demands RoLy.
vii) I'll miss Ballas... :(

Sandilands just needs to get all the frees he doesn't get. Like Goldstein does.

I think Mayne had 9 tackles on the weekend, so not mutually exclusive.

I learned that hopefully Hawthorn have peaked early in an effort to try and grab top 2 after a woeful start. Still 11 weeks to go until the GF, and for four years their prelims have been decided by less than a straight kick,

And Dwayne Russell is still a tool.
