I gotta say, for a kid who's only played a handful of games to have the poise and confidence he did last night... Wow. Just the way he was asking for it in tight situations, pointing out where the ball should go and the 1%ers he did were just outstanding. I know he let his opponent beat him once or twice but in a pressure scenario a lot of first/second/third year players don't have the confidence he did and the skill to back it up. Solid effort from the young bloke.

Agree wholeheartedly Onwano. Really gives 100% and does not want to be beaten. Was terrible decision against him for that free to Jesse White in the last but he (and the Karma Bus) took it in his stride. More than held his own.

It was really encouraging to see him making decisions: reading play and peeling away from his man to intercept, which he did once or twice.

I feel a lot more comfortable about the future of our back line just on the basis of the four games he's played.
