Not a hell in chance of North melbourne letting black go. We offered significant coin when black was coming out of contract and he decided to sign a 4 year contract with North instead.
Giving them Sheridan ( I must be watching a different player ) he is ok maybe in better than that , but not sure he is front of others playing at peel. To add a pick say 18 or 19 wont get this deal done. He is a KPP and they are rare, not sure how the Eagles seem to draft so many!!!

Who would generate this story mentioning Black and Sheridan in the same article. I can't decide.

It seems to me that North Melbourne's need for quality mids puts them in as desperate need as Fremantle are for key position talls - if that's what Black is (he's 192cm).

Jake Carlisle is out of contract at the end of this year.

I reckon he is a better prospect than Black and Essendon could do with a midfielder or two.

If we recruited Carlisle it would be as a defender, he doesnt seem comfortable nor interested in playing as a forward.

In saying that if Rance is committed to AFL next season and he was interested in freo, he would be option 1 for me.

The thing that wont happen for a while is Fyfe going to CHF, he is great pinch hit there, but unless we were able to replace him with some more grunt in the middle there would be too much temptation to keep throwing him on the ball

Yep, now there's a real bargain Freo should keep their eye on. After a full quarter of footy he's managed 1 handball - even Sylvia would do better than that. In my view there's probably a very good reason why a middle of the table club would have him in the magoos (and iit's not because Waite is in such sparkling form).

Aaaron Black makes the Tabs look like Wayne Carey. AND Tabs has a few years up his sleeve to improve . Black really lacks any sort of physical presence . Good luck to him tho for getting a four year contract.
