No kidding he lacks physical presence - beyond getting a free and squibbing a goal in the second quarter, he was invisible. Maybe that's what makes him special, a unique kind of 'non-presence'. He was out there somewhere - where, nobody knows for certain.
I had a mate like that - when my high school gym class went on a 5 km run he sort of vanished somewhere near the start and then came puffing home towards the end of the pack. Apparently he used to duck out to his older brother's flat for a beer and a smoke and then hang out in the alley to join the return run. Ok (I guess) if you can swing it, but I wouldn't depend on him to break through the finish ribbon for the team.
