The last thing you want is Hodor or Dogga doing an ACL, leaving the other one to carry the ruck all season.
I would rather have Cox than Reidy. You can say neither are AFL standard but Freo only has one draft pick left, would we use this to draft a ruckman not ready to play for 2-3 years, that is way too risky. Who else is there?
To have an AFL experienced ruck/forward as a backup player makes perfect sense to me. Goldstein performed adequately for Essendon when Draper was out.
If the other two stay healthy, Cox will only play 2-3 games at most if he's lucky. You need him as backup if Freo make the finals. Make it happen.
