I read that as well. I've seen this kid play a bit and can't help thinking that in a few years time he will be seen as one of the steals of the draft especially if Adelaide turn him into another Riley Thilthorpe and he also goes running around in the midfield with brother Dan when he's not kicking goals in forward line. I'm just not sold on our Academy kids and if we just fall into line and use our vacant spots on Luke and Whan it could be a waste unless they are a step up in talent to our current midfield crop of Brayshaw, Serong, Johnson, Erasmus, O'Meara, Simpson, Reid, O'Driscoll, Sharp, Bolton and Wagner. That is just another midfielder. Nothing against drafting midfieilders but in a packed group of prospects we should reserve a spot for someone who is a bit better than average. Fred Rodriguez fits that bill in my opinion and if we look for a defender Blake Thredgold looks pretty good in his highlight reels for a tall intercepting defender. He could compete with Draper, Davies, Murphy and McDonald who are currently on our list if our Captain has injury problems again next season
