With the imminent return of Jackson, Ossie MUST be a starter.
He’s brought another cog to our side that’s been missing, he very versatile, our swing man and I’m loving what he’s doing!

Have to agree, but then there are worries about the side being too tall, so Dudley will also have to be in the starting lineup, to bring the average height down a bit.

So do we send an application to the AFL to see if we can have 24 in our starting 22?

Good position to be in, who ever misses out will be unlucky.

We're already too tall as we try to fit all of Pearce, Cox and Draper into the backline (with Chapman and Ryan). There is no way we play more talls, especially when we shoehorned Wagner into a midfield role and out of the backline to fit everyone in.

Jackson is a far superior player and walks into the side unfortunately for OMac. I would also probably drop Wagner or Worner for an actual midfielder like Erasmus to get some time on ball.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

I think it's possible they may be thinking of resting/ managing Darcy for just this week.

Sorry Biz I agree with most of your posts but those 2 won't be making way for Erasmus.

Also I thought the consensus on here was that Jackson was not a ruckman but a "unicorn" (whatever that means) half forward, wing type player, so why would we drop a tall for him?

Jackson for Bolton?

Jackson is a unicorn because he's a tall that can exploit other talls with his ability to play at ground level. It doesn't mean you necessarily want to play a team of giants against a bunch of runners. Even more so when he's coming back from a hamstring and Darcy is still building fitness.

Jackson will replace a tall and we will need more runners.

Biz, can I just express disappointment that you did not use the opportunity above to say "...drop a Worgner...". So much more efficient.

Corp as much as i would love to see him back,i'd be very surprised if he gets much game time at all this season, and beyond that it looks even more grim.
The bustling bullocking Nat has gornski. .
I would love to see him in the centre bounces again, but can he still have an influence ,has he got the confidence to be even a shadow of his former self.
Another four to six weeks, tells me the body is telling him thats it it's all over red rover ,shame. Much same scenario for Sonny .
