Do you know they outscored us by 57 points in the final quarter - after not scoring themselves until the 8 minute mark of the quarter.

This is just ridiculous for a team that just had their biggest ever pre-season that had publicly just backed itself to be so fit that they would outlast any other team this year.

I really like JL and want the very best for him and the team but this was the worst post match interview I have heard from him since he took on the job. He sounded totally clueless and gave no encouragement for our chances of success this year. And his comments on Murphy Reid's performance were also pretty damned pathetic as well in pointing out how poor his performance was in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters. At least he had a crack in the 3rd quarter and nearly turned the whole game with the assistance of a few others. Most of his more experienced team mates couldn't say the same and should be ashamed of their efforts in the last quarter. And no explanation for Heath Chapman wearing the subs vest. I worry for JL's future if we don't see a vastly improved effort next week against Sydney.

They clearly went into the game with the wrong mindset - not ready for a tough battle. Is that coaching - probably partly - but we still have the youngest / least experienced team of the round, so it's gonna happen sometimes.

They've been able to turn around this kind of performance in recent years. They sure better for next week!

I went into 2016 full of optimism on the back of finishing first in the home and away season before.

Game 1 at Telstra and the eventual premiership team flogged us, Western Bulldogs. That game ushered in what has been eight years of below average results. I think you saw the 2025 premiership team play yesterday.........and what of us.

Yesterday was the most disappointing game Ive ever seen them play. It was disgusting.

Maybe not but on a weekend when we've probably lost Cooper Simpson to a bad ankle injury and Switta to a groin injury the only bright spots were Murphy Reid's great debut, don't care what JLo thinks, and Nat Fyfe getting through a half of footy in the WAFL with 13 disposals and a goal with no injury problems. Also just a comment on Aiden Riddle, kicked 2 goals in WAFL yesterday and can play both ruck and forward effectively. This is not in Liam Reidy's skill set and though he is young I think Riddle should be fast tracked with his development as a better long term option to Reidy.

Reid got what he deserved a self serving show pony. Justin was clear. They have cameras behind the goal. We don’t want other teams to see our real game plan till at least round 22 so we can surprise the other teams.

So what does Reid do. Have a brain snap and reveal our game plan to the whole competition in 10 minutes of self indulgence.

The sheer impertinence of a rookie doing this boggles my mind. Who does he think he is Nat Fyfe.

I hope Justin has him doing runner duties during the next match sim as penance. He may have just derailed our master plan.

Brucey has done more in one quarter than his namesake up the road who has 5 touches till nearly 3/4 time, and you want to pay him what?
I watched the third quarter again just to see what else Murph did ,lace out kicks to the chest ,a couple of perfect handballs a tap on out of nowhere to a player ,which sent us into the forward 50.Missed another set shot ---just.
He got 7 votes on Ch 9's footy show .
Yeh time he gets the sub vest .No push in ya face to get a kick ,just calm precise footy .Well done that man.
