There was nothing to the rumour, just a random tweet saying Melbourne would try to get Jackson back because they think it's possible without stating a reason for it. There was nothing from the Jackson camp and it has been very strongly denied by both Freo and Jackson's management.
Even then, Jackson's girlfriend is well established in Perth atm with roles at the Fever and in WA media. It's rare that even Tim Gossage will come out to point out how stupid a negative rumour about Freo is but even he posted how dumb it was due to his involvement with Jackson's partner in the media.
Jackson is going nowhere.
