It is time to indicate how successful each of the eighteen AFL teams will be in the HomeNaway season. As in past years, just before the season starts I will scrape your carefully considered opinions from this thread so they may be analysed before the 2026 competition. Commit and put your thoughts down. Show us all how clever you are!
Now I am not asking you to pick the order of the AFL ladder at the end of Round 23; I am asking you to place the AFL clubs into four bands. Hypen, try to understand this. It ain’t hard. Even for you.
* Which four teams will hold positions one to four at the top of the ladder?
* Which four teams will make it to the finals in positions five through to eight?
* Which four teams will just miss out on making the finals in positions nine through to twelve?
* And finally, which six teams will finish at the bottom of the AFL ladder?
Your predictions will look something like this...
Top four: Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton, Collingwood
Bottom of the top eight: Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Gold Coast
Just missing finals - four teams: Greater Western Sydney, Hawthorn, Melbourne, North Melbourne
Cellar dwellers - bottom six: Port Adelaide, Richmond, St Kilda, Sydney, West Coast eGulls, Western Bulldogs
