Loved the girls' work, particular Mim who is a genuine superstar of this competition. It's a shame we don't have Tighe, Bowers and Stannett available as a Premiership may just be a little beyond us but with the guts and determination that the girls display on a weekly basis anything may be possible.
On a negative note though was the fact that there was no Budget or anything available at the ground to keep score on or even show the girls numbers. No team list of any sort. Not sure who this reflects on, the AFLW or the organisers at the ground. Maybe Shane can help out with an AFLW Dockerland Budget. This may only seem like a little thing but if the AFLW want to be taken seriously they have to cover little things like this. Also the amenities weren't really up to scratch with the toilets on the western hill closed and only a bank of port a loos which struggled to keep up at 3 quarter time. I lost count of the numbers of people disappearing behind the toilets to do God knows what.
On the whole though a very enjoyable day and hopefully the girls can now go all the way, Go Freo!!!
