He's a medium half forward in the mould of Sam Sturt, leads and has a bit of a leap to him. I haven't seen much of him, 1 WAFL game so I don't really know if he's any good or not. He wasn't particularly impressive in the game I watched, not draft worthy anyway but it was 1 game. He wasn't bad but didn't stand out. As a mature age player, I would think you need to do more to stand out, especially in a deeper draft.
I imagine the idea is to hope no one bids for him and we can add him to the rookie list. Putting in the father-son nomination is to ensure we can match a late bid if Brisbane make one. Otherwise, I don't think he'd be added to our main list. Bit of a puzzling decision in what is a pretty deep draft but looks like we're really excited for him.
