FREMANTLE has appointed long-time assistant and former Norwood SANFL coach Jade Rawlings as the replacement for departed backline coach Matthew Boyd.
Rawlings, who led the Redlegs to a flag in 2022, will add experience to Justin Longmuir's coaching team after stints across four AFL clubs in 14 years, including a brief stint in 2009 as Richmond's caretaker coach.
He served in a mix of assistant, development and VFL coach roles with the Tigers, Brisbane, Melbourne and North Melbourne before joining Norwoo
The Dockers had been interviewing for a new backline coach after Boyd joined Collingwood at the end of the 2024 season following four seasons with the club.
Fremantle's coaching team is rounded out by forwards coach Jaymie Graham, midfield coach Joel Corey, and stoppages and opposition coach Harry Garland.
