Hawthorn have traded their pick 14 for Carlton's future 1st and 2nd picks, hilariously screwing the OOFTIT's who thought they'd get it for Barrass.

Gold Coast are receiving offers from most sides in the competition for their pick 13 which looks to be going for a bounty of picks.

Essendon are looking to shop their pick 9 around as a bid is likely to come for their academy kid Kako before it. They are putting in place some big deals if it comes to fruition.

Then there's Freo with Richmond trying to extort us for Bolton. We have picks 10, 11 and 18 with at least one of those on the trade table if Bolton negotiations fall through. I'd love to see what clubs are offering for a chance to nab one of the elite kids in this draft. Everyone wants in and there are some massive offers going around.

Whether it's Freo trading backwards in this year's draft in exchange for future picks (to be used on Warner, bids on our NGA kids or just using them ourselves), we can only win from where we are sitting. I'm excited to get another team's future first round pick and death ride it like we did the Pies and Ports picks if it happens.

Freo should be looking to do something similar that the Hawks did with the Eagles and trade out pick 10. That said I feel Walls wants to hold one of either 10 or 11 till draft night and on trade it to the highest bider. Possibly looking at the saints and Essendon who have picks right before our picks. Personally I’d be looking at Melbourne’s future first. With all the goings on at that club could be a very low pick.

The Baker ship has sailed. Personally, I never wanted him but he's made his choice for the OOFTIT's. He's nominated them and that's his only destination. It's just funny that both Richmond and the OOFTIT's can't make Hawthorn pay for the deal to happen and will have to find another way. The OOFTIT's 2nd round pick should be enough to get it done.

It’s being quite confidently and factually reported on a few different platforms that we’ve offered all 3 picks for B&B, most recently on the AFL page and previously via one of the Toms, I think.
Personally I hope Richmond don’t accept, but word from Richmond supporters (taken with a large grain of salt) is that Baker has told them he’s happy to go wherever offers the best value for Richmond, with WC being his preference.

There is indeed mention of this offer on AFL Trade. Richmond don't want future picks they want 1st round picks now. WCE could split their number 3 pick by offering this to Carlton for 12 and 14. If this was taken up by Carlton, then WCE would offer Richmond pick 14 for Baker. Still doesn't solve their Barrass problem unless they accept a F1+F2 from Hawthorn for Barrass?? With the Hawkes likely to finish in the top 6 next year F1 could be pick 15-18? They should have taken current 14 immediately in a good draft!
All speculation, but 10, 11 and 18 for B&B is definitely overs. As stated elsewhere it needs to be B&B + 20 (or 24?) for three 1st rounders. I would also suggest if Richmond wants 10 and 11 for Bolton that's also overs and it has to be 10 and18 or if they want 10 and 11 then it has to be Bolton plus 20 or 24.

Quite probably. But also possibly actually done by Freo to heap pressure on WC to stop tooling around and get on with paying overs for Baker before they humiliate themselves with trade week ineptitude of epic proportions. Thus hopefully allowing us to snare Bo Allen before they can.
